Dimension 4600 memory upgrade
Sorry if the question might sound stupid or amateur but I have asked the same to two Dell online chat specialists and they have not been able to give me a straight answer... Well it might be against the house policy to help customers with questions concerning products Dell use to build computer with so I am turning to the real specialists!!!
Could someone tell me if I can use a pair of Samsung PC2700 M368L6423ETN or M368L2923BTN memory to upgrade my Dell Dimension 4600 (it uses a pair of Samsung M369L3223ETN-CB3, 256MB PC2700 CL2.5 at 333Mhz ). I would think I could but I am not sure.
Please help!

The best vendor for memory, that's guaranteed to be compatible with your 4600 system with a lifetime warranty, is here.

Thx shesagordie,
I have moved to Europe and it´s not so easy to find stuff here and to have it shipped from the USA leads to customs retaliation. I found a pair of 512MB M368L6423ETN for about $120 in England instead of $460 from Dell european website and I thought since my PC came with Samsung memory it was not a bad idea to upgrade with the same stuff. If you think Crucial is the way to go I will check it out.

THX to both of you for valuable infos, now I feel much more enlighted. I have checked the european Crucial website and it looks like a serious company with great products and still at decent price.
