Does the (Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family) support shader model 3?
I am trying to play a game and an error message is coming, does the Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
support shader model 3, or is there any way I can update it so it can? Please help.

You will just have to get a dedicated video card that supports it and not use your integrated graphics.

The G31/G33 is low end and not a good choice for gaming. Even a cheap video card like the Gigabyte 6450 Newegg is offering for $13 (after mail-in rebate) with their "Shell Shocker" deal is vastly superior. (I was able to play Borderlands at reasonable settings with something similar.)
