Dual Monitor for Inspiron 3647 small desktop
I'm new to this but I would appreciate any help from the computer gurus out there.
I have an inspiron 3647 and would like to set up dual monitors. It's small, but would I be able to add another video card to the pc? Any recommendations?
And do I have to worry about other things like power supply?
If someone could break this thing down to me and show me how I can get my pc to have dual monitors, that would be great!
Thanks!

Version of Windows?
If you have an add-in video card, you probably can use dual monitors now, assuming your video card supports multiple monitors, and the monitors can connect to whichever ports are on the card.
Even if the card doesn't support multiple monitors you may be able to use the onboard HDMI port for one of them. Reboot and press F2 to open BIOS setup. Look for Intel Multi Display option. Enable that, save the change and exit BIOS setup. When you get to the desktop, power off normally.
You should now be able to connect one monitor to the onboard HDMI port and the other one to a port on the video card, assuming you have at least one monitor that supports HDMI.
Either way, when both are connected reboot and go to the Windows Display settings screen and set your preferences for which monitor is display 1 and 2, etc...
