Dual-monitor support on 128MB ATI X1300 PCIe low profile video card on Dimension C521
I have client who just received a new Dimension C521 with a VisionTek 128MB ATI Radeon X1300 PCIe low-profile video card.
As a low-profile card, there is only one DVI output and one S-Video output, no 2nd DVI or VGA port.
Yet, in both Display Properties and Device Manager, the card shows that a second monitor is supported.
Dell Technical Support initially indicated that a dual link cable (a splitter, essentially) wasn't shipped with the system but that one would be sent out the next day.
However, a senior Tech Support member then e-mailed my client the next day saying that no such splitter was available from Dell for that card.
Instead, the system would need to be shipped back and upgraded with a 256 MB ATI X1300 Pro card.
The problem: After the original response from Dell Technical Support, I spent many hours installing software, printers, documents and other devices for my client onto the system. Returning the system would waste a lot of time and money.
My question: is there truly no cable or add-on that will allow my client to use two monitors on his new system (horizontal spanning of the desktop, not just cloning)?

My client wants to use two monitors for day trading, not gaming, so the 128MB of RAM is not a factor.
Since this is a low-profile card (and yes, it is an x1300 not x300), only one DVI output and one S-Video output are available on the card.
See pic:

Although the pic is for the 256MB card, the output configuration is the same. I know that the x1300 Pro with 256MB has a splitter of sorts (still don't know what it's called technically so that I can do a search), but need to know whether one exists for the 128MB version. After all, if the Device Manager and Display Properties indicate that dual monitors are supported, there's got to be a way to do it. And, no, I don't want to use the S-Video output.
Thanks for your input, Gumba.
