Hello Lowroller,

The GX620 includes a variable-state power button LED. This LED can display five different codes or states. The code displayed by the LED can provide a wealth of information about the state of the system. Each of these states is shown in the table below.

The Five States of the Start-Up Process:

1. OFF                     - Off: The computer is not getting power.
2. Blinking Amber - Power: The system power supply receives power from the power source and distributes this power to the internal components.
3. Solid Amber      - Pre-POST: The system gets power and can distribute it to its internal components but cannot process data.
4. Solid Green       - POST: The computer processes a series of instructions that check, test, and initialize system components. These tests are commonly known as the POST tests.
5. Blinking Green  - Boot: When a computer successfully completes the POST routines, the BIOS attempts to release control of the system to a defined boot device and installed operating system. When this is successful, the system begins the boot stage.

To understand the issue and assist you further, please help me understand whether the power button is blinking amber or blinking green, so that I can assist you further with the correct resolution.

Please write back, would be glad to assist you further.
