Floppy Diskette Seek Failure
I have a Dimension E310. When I turn my computer on it beeps twice and says Floppy disette failure strike F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility. Can someone please help me fix the problem.

boot into the bios. Press the F2 key as soon as you see the Dell splash screen. Once in the bios go to the drives section. there you will find the option to turn off the floppy drive.
IT may be possible that the drive has actually failed. So if you don't use it, then setting it to off will be the best option. The other option is to pick up an new floppy drive and replace it

I tried turning off the floppy disk and it didn't work.
