Floppy Diskette seek failure
I have a Dell Dimension 9100 Desktop. when turning on my pc, I get the above message indicating to Strike F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility. After I strkie F1, a blue stop error screen appears.
tech information:
STOP: 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x82F809C8, 0xC0000102, 0x00000000)
I've gone into the utility set up and did not see anything unsual, keep in mind I'm not familiar with all of that stuff, so I'm at a loss at what to do as I've powered it off and on many times with the same results. HELP!!!!

Do you have floppy drive? If not, the motherboard battery might have died, making the machine think you have a floppy.
The stop code is some kind of file system corruption message.
I would run the hardware diagnostics to see if your hardware is working properly. Press F12 when you see the Dell logo and select diagnostics. I would run them all and run the longer (thorough) tests.
Did you change any hardware or software lately?

No, I do not have a floppy drive and have disabled that option and have ran the hard drive diagnostics (only one option in the boot drive menu). Here's what it said:
Drive 0: WDC WD1600JS-75NCB3 - Pass
Drive 1, 2 and 3 - No device
Drive 4: HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8163B - Diagnostics not supported
Drive 5: Sony CD-RW CRX217E - diagnostics not supported
Nothing I do at start up changes anything once I get to the floppy diskette seek failure message. pressing F1 to continue will only get me to the blue screen error message once I've done any prompts that appear on the screen. Anything I can do to get pass the blue screen other than pressing the power button off as that just repeats itself to the problem at hand?
anyone here that uses the computer SWEARS they didnt change anything, but there has to be something that changed as yesterday it was fine.

Did you change the motherboard battery? That should clear up the floppy message. If you have set it to No Floppy, but it changes back that is most likely a bad battery. They are only a few dollars at a local electronics store.
If the HD is ok in the Dell diagnostics, then it is possible that you have some sort of corruption on the HD that is causing the blue screen. That may require a reinstall of Windows. However, there may also be a hardware problem (bad PSU for example) that might still be lurking.
I would try the motherboard battery and then reset the CMOS setting using the motherboard jumper and start from there.
