GX270 BIOS

Hello

I have a number of gx270  machines plugged without monitors, keyboards... Sometimes we experience electricity problems and the machines go down. I need them to power up automatically when the power supply is restored.  I can't access the PCs remotely, but I can ask someone to put boot cd or floppy and restart the machine.

How I can automatically change BIOS setting AC Power Recovery without connecting monitor?

One of the solutions is to save BIOS from normal PC to file and then distribute the boot floppy to problem PCs. Is there any methods how to save Dell BIOS to file and then flash it to another machine.

Or maybe you know better solution?

Thanks

There is no way to move BIOS settings from one to the other, Not that I know of anyway. You can update the BIOS settings remotely though. Also about telling the computer to boot remotely you will want to look at Wake On Lan, which from what I can see all can be done through Dell OpenManage™ IT Assistant

Dell OpenManage™ IT Assistant Messages:

Dell OpenManage™ IT Assistant  Configuration Management

Also Check this Out for Remote Flash BIOS

Hope this helps.
