Graphics card upgrade for T3500 Workstation *help*
Hello :)
I have a Dell Precision T3500 WorkStation with a Quadro fx 1800 and a 12 gb of ram.
*I have not changed anything of the hardware.*
I do architecture work.
This Quadro card does a great Job with Autocad and 2d work. But I need something better for doing 3d work too. I need a better card for using Lumion and Blender.
A friend told me a GeForce card was a better option for architecture work. I'm not sure what graphic card i need for doing stuff in lumion and using autocad too...
What Graphics Cards are compatible with this computer?
Please help :(

Blender should run on all systems that support OpenGL 2.1 and above.
The FX1800 is a 768 meg GDDR3 64 cuda core 192 bit GPU

Your issue is the card being SOO Old.
You need a Kepler Quadro Card
DELL NVIDIA QUADRO K2000 GRAPHICS CARD 2GB 384 CUDA CORES

Your system bus is not PCI-E 3.0 so those cards would be bottlenecked.

Thank you for the fast reply :)
I use blender in this computer for rendering, but it really is slow. The same thing with lumion, really slow. :(
*I'm sorry for my bad english.*
This is the program i tried to run in this pc... https://lumion3d.com/
I'm not sure what you are trying to say with ''Your system bus is not PCI-E 3.0 so those cards would be bottlenecked''. :( Can you please explain?
