HELP PLEASE! Can ATI Radeon X300 dual display?
Hi! I need to run dual display in our church using our Dell Dimension 4700 with an ATI Radeon X300 SE video card. Our current set up is that our LCD projector is connected to the VGA output on the PC. However, we are looking to purchase software which requires dual monitor displays. Will this video card would work for dual outputs? In looking at the back of the PC, I'm thinking since the LCD projector that we have uses a standard VGA cable, do I need a converter to plug it (or the monitor) into the DVI output on the PC video card? Will this enable us to be able to plug in the monitor into the PC and also run the LCD projector at the same time? The software uses dual display to display one thing to the congregation while the projectionist can do doing something else (which is not seen by the congregation) until he chooses to disply it "live". Thanks for any info you can provide!!!!!

You can always buy new video card, if you want something better than the X300. But you can only put 1 PCI-express video card in an 8400 at a time. Dell motherboards won't allow 2 video cards at same time so putting 2nd video card in a PCI slot (different from PCI-express slot) won't work.

I have a similar question.
Do all ATI Radeon X300 have the ability to use dual displays, or is this a special version. I have a Dimension 8400, and have no clue what type of X300 card I have.
If it won't display on 2 moniters, can I just buy another PCI video card ?
