Has anyone else had problems with MYDELL tool for Drivers and Updates for XPS 2720 Touch All-in-one? Cannot receive customized Dell OEM recommendations for Drivers and Updates for this new desktop computer.

The MYDELL tool for Drivers and Updates section does not work for my XPS 2720 Touch All-in-one desktop computer so unable to receive customized Dell OEM recommendations to keep my computer up to date. When adjust tool for 8.1 Windows (as it came with 8.0 and then one month later 8.1 came out), it scans my computer but instead of actually seeing what components are already installed on my computer or if they need to be updated, it only generates a generalized list and one has to download at your own risk. Dell Tech Support knows about this issue and only states they don't know when it will be fixed and I have been waiting for over 5 months. This leaves my computer vulnerable and not optimized. I was also told by Tech Support not to download any suggested updates from Windows Updates as some conflict with the software installed on my computer. Have found Tech Support to be non-supportive and unhelpful. Anyone else have this experience?
