Help with Optiplex GX110
Hey Im just wondering if the graphics card Nvidia Geforce 4 MX 440 SE would work in my optiplex gx110, as Im trying to play a game which requires a better graphics card than the intitial one provided with it. It says it fits into an AGP socket (I have no idea what that is, as Im a complete dummie when it comes to things like this). Any advice or help that anyone could give would be great. If this card isnt compatible with my PC could someone suggest one which is?
By the way, the game Im trying to play is Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - True Combat Expansion.
Thanks

The Answer is NO it will not fit.
The GX110 only has 32 bit PCI slots.
If you can find a PCI version of the Geforce 4 440 it works fine.
A better solution would be a Geforce FX5500 PCI Card from PNY or another vendor.
I use one in my GX110 with 1.0Ghz coppermine Pentium3 and 512 megs of ram and XP.
Plays Doom3 just fine, Also plays farcry, half life, Warcraft, Starcraft, DiabloII
Mohaa, Battlefield 1942, etc.
