How do I install a COMPRO VideoMate T750 TV Tuner Card into Dell E520?

Hi,

I've recently purchased a Dell E520 running Windows Vista Premium and a COMPRO VideoMate T750 TV Tuner Card (hardware overview of T750 is available here). The installation guide for the T750 indicates that it is to be connected to the Dell's power up connections (i.e. power switch on the mainboard). Trouble is I'm not sure where these connections are (following the cables from the power on button is not possible as they are hidden). There are some connections on the mainboard that look similar to those in the T750 manual but according to the Dell E520 manual these are for the fan. All of the other connectors on the mainboard seem quite different to those on the T750 card. HELP!!!

Kind regards,

Is a TV Tuner Card that good for it to require power off of the power supply through a connector? Were not looking at a 8800 Geforce or anything!

It's not drawing power off the power supply. The leads from power-on switch are routed through the tuner card so that the remote can be used to turn the PC on from hibernation/sleep mode.

Just learning Computer and that Card looks Nice...
I only have one PCI express slot which I plan on getting a 8600GT card once they come out and would i still be able to get this card???

My understanding is that the Dell E520 would not support the 8600GT card unless the power supply is upgraded. There has been considerable discussion about this issue in various forums. Cards higher than the 7600GT draw too much power (particularly when under load).
