How to upgrade Dell Inspiron 1420 processor?
Hi,
I have Dell Inspiron 1420, bought 2 years ago. I have core 2 duo T5750 1.5 Ghz processor and I want to upgrade it to something like core 2 duo 2.4 ghz processor.
I want to know if I can upgrade my processor from dell or do I have to buy a new laptop? Also if upgrade is possible can someone give me an estimation of price?

I have seen the service manual, and it seems fairly easy. The Manual is on the this Dell Website. I'm looking to do a processor upgrade myself. I'm looking to buy a Core 2 Duo T8300 2.4 GHz from an on-line retailer. There are several that carry this processor. Do you happen to know the pin number that the Inspirion 1420 uses?
