Images and videos loading slow or not at all.
Lately the videos from like bing or you tube have been loading slowly and more or less constantly and if I just hit pause and wait for it to download or load or whatever , it won't even download the video. My images have been loading slow or not at all too. I have REGTOOL and ANTI-MALWARE, a free anti-spyware program, a free anti-malware program, and McAfee security center. REGTOOL optimizes your computers performance and right now my computers status in regtool is excellent. I defragged my computer last week, and did some smart defrags in regtool.I checked my upload and download speeds and 1 was 150 and the other was 200 bps. I'm looking at windows update and it says I have 1 optional update available. It's dell inc. display - dell ST210. Would it hurt to download that ? Do you know how to fix the slow loading ? Thank you :emotion-2:

Hi agear,
You haven't provided the model of your desktop or your operating system. That might be helpful.
What about videos on your hard drive? Do you have any problems there?

Your speeds are way way to slow. How are you connecting by hardline or by wireless? The speeds should be almost 10x what you reported. Are you on Cable or DSL?

I have verizon dsl. I'm pretty sure I'm connected via telephone line and the only other computer in the house is connected wirelessly to my network.

How does the other computer perform? I think a call to Verizon is in order.

I think your next step is to get in touch with Verizon.

is this a recent issue or has it been going on a while? Since both systems are exhibiting the same issues that kind of leads me to an issue with your DSL or modem.
