Inspiron 3264 AIO Updates from DELL
Is update for Support Assist Recovery Tools a genuine update from DELL. My Norton 360 quarantines it as a suspicious file ? A popup window appears in bottom right of screen saying this update is available and asking to install . I click remind me later .
can anyone help?

Support Assist Recovery is valid Dell software:

Whether the update you're being offered is really from Dell is hard to say without knowing if you've scanned thoroughly for malware recently, etc.
Norton could be giving you a false positive. You might want to repost this in the Virus & Spyware forum to see if any of the experts over there know why Norton may be misidentifying the update as suspicious.
