Inspiron 3847 Drops Wi-Fi Connection While Gaming
Hi, I bought a new Dell Inspiron 3847 a few months ago. While I'm playing a game (or this is the only time I notice it), my computer drops the wi-fi connection for anywhere from 2 seconds to 20 seconds. I have an Apple Airport Extreme and never have had this problem on any other device (MacBookPro, iMac, iPhone 5s, iPad Air, iPad Mini, Dell laptop, etc.). I guess my main question is do I need to buy a new wi-fi adapter and install it or is there something else that might solve my issue?
Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I wasn't able to get it working reliably so I spent $20 on a usb wifi unit.
The Drops are due to interference. Switching to 5Ghz band only solved this for me because my neighbors are all using channel 1 6 11
there are no more channels on 2.4Ghz band.
Also unless you have a wave 2 router it can only talk to 1 device at a time.
