Inspiron One 2320 - replacing hard drive

Diagnostics has informed me that my hard drive is failing. I have a spare hard drive available which I can use to replace the failing one. However, the Inspiron One shipped without a Windows 7 disc from which the operating system can be reinstalled and then authenticated with Microsoft. Is there a hidden partition with the OS installer available? How do I get that to a new hard drive and then access it to reinstall Windows? Or, is there a utility I can use to image this drive and restore to the new one?

TIA!

Hi,

Thank you for reaching us.

Since the Hard drive has failed, I suggest not to copy or create a system image from it.

Please send a private message with the computer's service tag. We shall see how to get you the Windows 7 DVD at the earliest.

Thank you.
