Is there a way to block............??

Once your email address is "out & about", it's very difficult to stop spamming. Rules can help some, blocking only diverts it to your "Deleted" folder so the best solution IMHO is, get a new email address. Once you get the new address for your primary email, guard it zealously, never using in on-line unless absolutely necessary and giving only to trusted (and responsible) friends.

Instead, create another address somewhere (DellMail, for example) and use this is your "public" address. Most of these will automatically forward your mail to your primary account and if you do ever have to change it, it can be done on-line in a few secs. This way, you get all your mail in your main mailbox without the risks.

This method has worked successfully for me:
I don't use 'block sender' but rather 'mail rule'. The key is to block the domain or any part of it that is common to the source of spam, not just adult solicitations.
Check the box that says:
"Where the From line contains people" and put in the domain or any part of the domain (the part of the address that follows the @)
Then check the box that says:
"Delete it from the server"
This bounces the mail back to the sender appearing to them that your mail address is bad. That will get you removed from their lists.
There are some domains that may be sending you valid mail, in those cases make a rule that sends it to a specific folder. I created one called 'junk'. When my mail downloads I switch to it and browse through the titles. If it is garbage I just Ctrl+A and delete... gone!
If you look at the spam your getting you can analyze it and reroute most of it using a minimum of rules.
And of course the cardinal sin is to respond to a 'remove me from your list' at the bottom of a message. It's a surefire way to get flooded with even more mail since you have now verified your address as active. Good luck.

It doesn't do any good to block for they auto name change and you will never get the same twice.
Also NEVER reply to any spam mail.. even if they have an option "To remove you from their mailing list". That is only a signal to them that your address is active! Then your address is resold.

This works for me:

First I changed my POP mail address. I notified ONLY my friends that are in my address book. When I forward jokes to them I send as "Bcc". I asked my friends to remove me from their forward list unless they use "Bcc".
I never get spam mail to this account.

I set up a Hotmail address. I use this address as my public address, for posting on forums or placing orders on the internet. I set Hotmail spam filter to "Exclusive", that means ALL mail not in my Hotmail address book goes to a junk folder.
With one click I can check the folder or delete the complete folder. I will check it daily if I have recently placed an internet order. Usually web site order confirmation is sent immediately after placing an order. I don't have to check but once every 7 days before the folder auto deletes.

You do that as you select each person for the forward.

When each person receives your forward it will only show their address and this:

How do I set my mail program to forward as "Bcc"? I can't seem to find it. I am using IE 6 and Outlook Express. Thanks in advance.
