Just Purchased new Inspiron 530 desktop
Hello all.
I just purchased an Inspiron 530 desktop to replace my dinosaur of a Dell Dimension 8250. I got the Inspiron 530 for about $790 after tax with $250 off coupon. Check my signature for its specs. Now the only thing I have to do is tell my folks.

Apparently Dell had these 4 choices for video card:
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100
ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro (+$60)
ATI Radeon HD 3650 (+$100)
ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT (+140 or something like that)
I picked the Radeon HD 3650 b/c it is the newest of all the cards and has Direct X 10.1
BTW, how does the 3650 compare to the 2600XT?

My new Inspiron 530 tower came yesterday. Also, the SE198WFP flat panel came in another package. I currently have the flat panel set up in DVI (digital) mode. It was a real pain getting the VGA cable to disconnect. I had to use a flat head screwdriver to disconnect the VGA cable. It is very fast. Much faster than my old computer. The E8300 Core 2 Duo will last me quite some time. So far no problems yet (knock on wood).
