KM632 wireless mouse replacement - possible to pair with old dongle?
So the scroll wheel stopped working properly on my KM632 wireless mouse. Love the mouse, so I bought a replacement mouse with no dongle off ebay, under the impression that it would work with my existing dongle (I had read that it would work somewhere else on this forum). This doesn't appear to be the case as the replacement mouse isn't being seen by the dongle. Is there ANY way to get this replacement mouse to function with my existing dongle? There are a ton of people selling these on ebay without the dongle...if they are paired at the factory to the dongle, how are they selling these to people? If I can't somehow pair it with my existing dongle, the mouse is totally useless. I'm fairly computer savvy, so if I need to do something in the device manager or registry or whatever, I'm okay with that. All of the numbers on the bottom of both are identical, with the exception of the serial number. It is worn off of my old mouse, but I'm assuming it is different from the new mouse. Can anyone help? Thanks!

You heard wrong. There is no pairing. Its not Bluetooth. They are matched sets at the factory.

I know it's not bluetooth....i certainly know the difference between USB and bluetooth. The computer I'm using this on doesn't even have bluetooth. I just used the term "pairing" for lack of a better term. My old Microsoft wireless mouse has a button on the bottom that you push to "connect" (okay, so there is a better term) to the dongle.
So you're telling me that all these people selling the mouse without the dongle on ebay and elsewhere on the internet are basically just ripping people off? If that's the case, that sure ***. (I can't say s*cks on here? Really? What are we, in kindergarten?)

So it would seem, the Dell KM632, KB, Mouse and USB wireless dongle is a factory matched set and sold as such.

Suggest you either buy a USB wired, or a wireless mouse, to replace the failed unit, you could contact the seller about a refund.
