Maxx Audio Installer (x64) has been removed
Hi,
After the latest creator update (Windows 10 1709) a notification appears every time when Windows start: "The Maxx Audio Installer (x64) has been removed because it not usable with the recent version of Windows. More info" (or something like that)
The sound functions work, I can't see Maxx Audio Pro anywhere.
The more info link opens this page: support.amd.com/.../AMDQuickStreamTechnology.aspx which not too useful.
How can I switch of this notification? This is an Inspiron 3647 desktop PC.

I see that you read the other thread, but did you follow through and do the driver removal/reinstall instructions listed by SpeedStep in the other thread?

The 3647 uses
Remove and Reinstall is recommended in all cases with Windows 10 feature updates breaking AUDIO specifically. Audio_Driver_GH16Y_WN32_6.0.1.7509_A00.EXE

If that does not help then CHIPSET Drivers may be needed.
You remove audio driver then reboot.
Then install Chipset Drivers and reboot
Then install audio drivers and reboot.

The notification disappeared without any action after a second W10 Update.
