Yes you have a 3d card.  You may need to update your video card drivers and update to DX9.

And for more info-the Geforce 4 MX is really a Geforce 2 more or less. It's a Direct X 7 class GPU (it support hardware T&L, but no pixel shaders). It's not a real Geforce 4.

The GeForce4 MX420 is inadequate for playing the latest games. I had one too.
