New Computer want to use old speakers
I have bought a new dell 9000 with a soundblaster x-fi titanium sound card. I have plugged in my old dell speakers from a dimension 8300 that had a sound blaster audigy 2 sound card.
My speakers do not all work. It is dell 5.1 surround sound speaker system. I am still a little confused on the back of each of the sound cards because I have a different colour arrangement. The 8300 computer had plug in for Yellow Black Green Pink Blue and Orange. The dell 9000 has plug ins for Black orange grey green and Blue. The colours are in that order.
I have gone looking for colour plugs from the dell 5.1 sound system but I have only 3 plug Black Yellow and Green/. What do I need to do get the full system to work.

The Creative site should have the directions you need. You download the file to your computer and then unblock it. Read the instructions under Windows 7 on Creative's page. You should look through your packaging for a Quick Start guide or more info. The universal port color for output to the main speaker is Green. All the other ports on the X-fi card are inputs if your X-fi is like mine.

Page 20 of the setup guide tells you how to connect the speakers. The front speakers are connected to your sound card, the others are connected to the PC directly:
Rear Left/Right to black
Center/subwoofer to orange
Side Left/Right to gray
Front Left/Right to green ON SOUND CARD
Microphone input to pink
CD/VCR/Cassette input to blue
