No Sound only Video - Studio XPS 435MT with HDMI connect to TV
I recently received my Studio XPS 435MT desktop. It has ATI Radeon HD 4350 512MB with an HDMI output. I connected my desktop to the TV(Vizio) using an HDMI cable.
I'm able to see the video but there is no sound ...
Am I missing any configuration settings. I though HDMI supports both video and sound.

I have an HD4850 Video card with the HDMI output. I have to change the "speaker" setup in the Control Panel/Sounds to the HDMI output rather than the PC's speakers, if I want to use the HDMI output. That may also be the case with yours.

thanks a lot . I got this resolved by changing to HDMI output in Control panel
