Optiplex 170L Won't Turn On
The indicator lights will not illuminate at all, it seems like the power button is broken. The internal "AUX_PWR1" light is illuminated.
Is there a way to replace the power button or to override it?
Thanks!

Hi Signs2u,
If the Power button on the system is broken it can be replaced, however we can follow the below steps to check if it fixes the system-
(1) Remove all the external devices like keyboard, mouse and power cord from the system.
(2) Press and hold power button for 30 sec which releases the static stored in the system.
(3) Connect the tower to a working power outlet. If tower works fine, then there is no need to replace any parts. Else,
(4) Remove memory modules from the system and check if the system turns on and if you get any beep codes.
Do write back with the results with the system details so that depending on the warranty status we can help you.
