Optiplex 3010/Intel HD 2500 max res question
Hi,
I'm using an Optiplex 3010 with Intel integrated graphics HD 2500 and Win 7. The processor is an Intel Core i5-3450. I'm trying to determine if it will support 1920 x 1200 resolution. On the Intel website, it says to contact the vendor, but I couldn't find any specifics on dell.com either.
Dell current configuration software lists my info as such:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz
Display Adapter: ST250DM000-1BD141 ATA Device
IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers: Intel(R) HD Graphics 1554.4140625MB
I currently have 2 older monitors - one with a HDMI connection (with a HDMI to DVI cable), and another with a VGA connection.
I'd like to replace the HDMI/DVI connection with a 24" monitor at 1920 x 1200, but I can't figure out if this system will support that resolution. If I go to display properties, it seems to top out at 1440 x 900, but maybe that's the max resolution of the current monitor?
Does anyone know if I can run 1920 x 1200 on the HDMI output and keep the older monitor at 1280 x 1024 on the VGA connection?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks, Sandeep.
All those FAQs are related to 3-display systems, whereas mine will be only 2. I do note, though, that it says:
remaining two displays at 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz.
So, is it safe to say that if it will support 3 monitors at those resolutions, then it should be able to support one at 1920 x 1200 and another at a lower res?

Hi gh1138,
I can confirm if the monitor can support this resolution at 3 way monitor setup, then it can definitely support it at dual or single monitor setup.
If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.
Thanks and Regards
