Optiplex 740 "Non Enhanced version" Processor upgrade
What all Athlon 64 X2's are supported by the Optiplex 740 mini tower. Right now it has a single core Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2ghz. I use it for playing all my older XP games and occasional web browsing via Linux. Surely the 740 supports more than an Athlon X2 5000, with the latest bios.. I just went on eBay and bought an Athlon X2 5000B 2.6GHz.
