Optiplex GX260 & Boot from USB 2.0 pendrive
Have I got any chance for boot from USB 2.0 pendrive (Optiplex GX260)

USB 1.1 works fine. You need to update the bios to A06 or higher.
Works fine.
Press F12 when you have a bootable drive in and then it shows up as being bootable.
I think some USB Floppy drives work also.

15.Improved USB keyboard and mouse emulation and clear USB Keyboard SHIFT
status on disconnect. Ignore error packets from a USB mouse to prevent
erratic mouse movement after a USB mouse is unplugged.
16.Eliminate several limited CDROM boot and install issues with some Linux
configurations.
17.Flush F3/F10/F12 state information after handling each option ROM setup.
Failing to do so could cause an unexpected boot menu appearance, etc.
18.Eliminate a case where an option ROM BIOS might fail to be cached.
19.Fix hang when the F12 boot menu is brought up with no bootable devices
attached.
20.Add support for some 1920x1200 and 1024x768 modes in the integrated
video.

Not all the ports are equal. There seem to be conflicts with some ports that
cause hang and other issues. This is true for newer models of OPTIPLEX also.
Its called you have to try it and see.
