Hi Chris, Your manual is HERE<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>
, and it says that you have an 305wPSU and an PCIe x16 slot for your graphics card. With that in mind I would recommend the 9500GT, see HERE. Though it says 350w needed, manufactors do overstate their power needed for their cards, and Dell do understste the power for their PSU's.

Hi, I got a GX280 DCNE the PSU for that particular Dell is only 280W.
I'm looking into purchasing an ASUS Geforce 9400GT (low-profile version).
Would anyone here advise against this? Will the PSU on my Dell handle it?
Thanks

Hi I have the same GX 280 and I was wondering if you put in the 9500 GT and a Intel 570 3.8 GHz would you need to replace your PSU.

Or would you still need to replace the PSU if you were to add in Intel Pentium 4 650

Initially, I thought it might, but that proved unnecessary. Worked great!

Mine is a P4 3.2 GHz. No problems. No PSU upgrade necessary.
