Optiplex GX520 - power on, no POST
I have a set of three Optiplex GX520 machines here. They're about 8 years old now. Two of them are OK, one of them will not boot.
More specifically, with a VGA monitor and USB kb and mouse plugged into the machine, when powering on the machine it never shows the POST screen like the others.
Not sure what to do next. Its obviously way out of warranty. Any ideas? Should I drop in a cheap VGA graphics card? Not even sure what kind of internal interface it uses to know what kind of video card to buy, but no POST had me thinking the video card might have an issue.

The Optiplex GX520 is made in three different versions, eg. SFF [Small Form Factor], DT Desktop, MT Mini-Tower, which version do you have?
What colour is the power button LED and is it blinking, or solid?
What is the reading of the four diagnostic lights, located on the front panel?

This is the small form factor (SFF) version.
When I plug the power cord into the machine, the power button LED is solid orange. It stays this way regardless of what I do (pushing/holding the power button, etc). With the other GX520 machines (the ones which still work), the power button LED goes solid green when they start up. With this, pushing the power button doesn't do anything.
I monitored the diagnostic lights while plugging in the machine and they do not turn on. They're all dark. They never light up at all regardless of inserting the power plug, pressing/holding the power button, etc.
The fan does turn on and there's a solid yellow light on the motherboard which stays on.

Power light
green light — Blinking green in sleep state;
solid green for power-on state.
amber light — Blinking amber indicates a problem
with the power supply inside the computer.
If the system cannot boot and there is a solid amber light,
this indicates a problem with the system board/cpu.
