PC won't boot. Error: "Analog Input. Self Test Feature Check."
Hello. Here is the problem I'm having: I hit the power button on my 26 month old Dimension and the system starts to beep and the following message flashes on the monitor:
"Phoenix ROM BIOS Plus version 1.10 A12"
"Previous attempts at booting this system have failed at checkpoint (time). For help in respoving this problem, please note this checkpoint and contact Dell Technical Support." If I power down, the get the same meesage with the word "(aux)" instead of "(time)". If I power down again, it goes back to "(time)" from "(aux)" and on and on...
Then I unplugged all hardware and powered back on. The following appeared: "Dell 1. Analog Input. Self Test Feature Check" followed by four boxes (red, green, blue, white). At first making noise, now appears to be hung. Please help....
