PSU upgrade for Inspiron 620

I would like to know which power supply unit should I get to replace a 300 W PSU in an Inspiron 620 minitower.  Thanks.

"I would like to update that the Inspiron 620 Minittower system supports a 300 W Power supply only", this is incorrect.

The Dell Inspiron 620 Mini Tower can use most generic standard ATX power supply units, with either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard power connector, with or without the on/off switch.

You should be able to buy a compatible power supply from either a local or online computer store.

Note: You require a power supply with four SATA power connectors.

Check out the Corsair/Antec brands of power supplies.

Hi oldjayhawk,

Welcome to the Dell community.

I would like to update that the Inspiron 620 Minittower system supports a 300 W Power supply only.

Here are the specifications for the Power supply:

Wattage               300 W

Input voltage       100-127 VAC/200-240 VAC

Input frequency   50/60 Hz

Thanks,

Abhishek
