Problem when upgrading to 4GB RAM (optiplex GX520)

First of all excuse me for my bad English is not my language.

What happens is that I bought two RAM 2GB DDR2 800MHZ, just installed the PC otiplex GX520 and takes about 10 to 20 minutes to start windows 7, when you start going well, but startup time is absurd. I wonder if there is anything I can do to not take so long to start. Before buying these memories had only 1gb and windows 7 started me pretty fast, although the performance was slow so I decided to buy new.

And hopefully they can help me. In advance thank you very much.

You may need to make a DOS Diskette to flash the bios.

You should not flash the bios with the ram that is not working well you should use the original ram.

3.5 Gigs is max ram regardless of OS being 64 bits or not.

Bios A11 resolves some issues with ram compatibility.  Try updating the bios with the old ram. Dell Optiplex GX620/GX520 System BIOS

SpeedStep, Download the file you left me, but when I run I get the following error:

An error was ecountered trying to cinfigurate windows to allow flashing, pleace reboot and try again.

Well, I have no problem with that only recognize 3.5 of RAM, my problem is it takes a lot to start Windows 7 taking 4 of RAM, I have left only one module of RAM and does not take anything to start, but with both I have qeu wait 10 to 20 minutes for WIndows 7 start.
