Problem with Dimension E520... Blank screen but computer boots and is running
Computer shut itself down and when I booted it back up there was no screen. The fans run and all lights are light and the HD makes it's usual sounds as it's booting, but there a black screen after the Dell logo pops up momentarily. When I push the select button on the front of the monitor, I get 2 selections... analog and digital. Now analog obviously won't work, but under digital is says "digital output in power saver mode, push any key or move mouse to end" I do that but I get just a blank screen and the light on the monitor is still yellow. I've looked at some threads here and it seems it might be the video card.. Anyone able to tell me what it could be?

If you have a separate video card (not on the motherboard Integrated Video), with the PC powered off "Reseat" the video card - unplug the video card then reinstall making sure its fully and correctly seated (you will probably have to disconnect the video connector before you can remove the card). It probably has a PCIe video card and there is an extra (usually white) lever that must be pressed to release PCIe cards.
If that does not work, try reseating the memory modules, power off and reseat.
