Problems with Nvidia Control Panel, still

Hi all

I am having some problems with the above mentioned still.  I have no problem with the Leds or with runaway fans but I do have a problem with profiles.

1st, When I try to save a profile, say fan speeds of 55 and cpu of 50, the cpu speed is saved but not the chassis fan speeds, this is with a restart included before its mentioned.  

2nd, The linking a profile to a game or application isn,t working and again I am following the correct procedure as posted by Chris (Liason)

These processes used to work before my latest re installation of Vista, brought about by poor advices on the part of Dell support.  I have tried uninstalling the software and using the latest Dell software, no joy. I have unistalled the Dell software for Control panel,all three, and used the latest from NvidiaSystem Tools v6.2. I am also using the latest firmware from Dell, Version 22
