Put an optiplex 9020 MT motherboard in another case

I have a Dell Optiplex 9020 MT, but i tried to fit an regular GTX 970 in it, but it doesn't have enough space. Could i just take out the contents of the pc and put it in a regular case?

You may have problems swapping motherboards into different cases. Dell typically uses custom connectors between front panels and motherboards. Those connectors often vary from one Dell PC model to another. They don't make the pin-outs of those connectors public.

That makes it hard to  swap cases unless somebody has already has mapped those connections, or you can do that yourself...

Thx for the response.

I am aware of the Mobo connector limitations.

I already have an other Powerselly installed with an 24 to 8 pin connector.

Plus a raid card for more hdd connectors.

I don't care about the front panel USB connection because I am using it as a server only.

All hdd,s are gone be inside the case.

I just want to know if I will fit inside a regular ATX case?

Kind regards
