RAM upgrade Dell XPS 8500

I bought a Dell XPS 8500 in 2012 and it came with 2x4gb of pc3-12800 RAM. It was enough until I bought new, more demanding games. I now want to upgrade to 16gb. I would buy 2 more 4gb sticks of the same RAM but the only place that I found it was on Amazon and it wasn't shipping to where I live, Canada. (https://www.amazon.com/8GB-Memory-Dell-8500-DDR3-10600/dp/B00APPFOG0?th=1)

I wondered if I could buy different RAM sticks that still has the same clock speed (1600mhz) to match with my old sticks. Such as these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00569K7LM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

The only thing I see that could not match is timing which I can't find on my PC's current RAM sticks.

Will these work with my computer?

Thank you,

Thomas Charland

Check out Crucial (www.crucial.com/.../store-international-canada). They sell to Canada.

More importantly, if Crucial recommends RAM for a specific PC model, they guarantee it works or they'll take it back. Many users on Dell's forum buy RAM from Crucial...

Keep in mind:

Module sizes supported: 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB

Total RAM configurations supported: 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB
