RX 480 in an XPS 8700
I have upgraded my psu, and am looking for a gpu upgrade. The RX 480 seems like a good option. Would it:
A: Fit
B: Be compatible with the mobo?

I have a RX480 on the way for my XPS 8700. It should be here July 7th 2016. I'll report back after i find out.

Note that the RX 480 evidently is currently is significantly exceeding its stated 150W TDP limit under certain loads, in tests run by PC Perspectives and Tom's Hardware sites. Further, in those tests, the RX 480 evidently drew power from the PCIe slot that significantly exceeded the typical 75W ceiling for a 16-lane slot, at least transiently or intermittently. Potentially, such excess draws risk motherboard damage.
According to PC Perspectives, AMD released the following statement on 7/2/2016 regarding that matter:
As you know, we continuously tune our GPUs in order to maximize their performance within their given power envelopes and the speed of the memory interface, which in this case is an unprecedented 8Gbps for GDDR5. Recently, we identified select scenarios where the tuning of some RX 480 boards was not optimal. Fortunately, we can adjust the GPU's tuning via software in order to resolve this issue. We are already testing a driver that implements a fix, and we will provide an update to the community on our progress on Tuesday (July 5, 2016).
