Raid 5

Can I use two 320 GB Hard drives 7200 rpm with two 300 GB VelociRaptor Hard drives at 10000 rpm

for Raid 5 configuration.

Might be possible, but definitely not recommended since the drives run at different speeds. With any RAID array you want to make sure the drives have equal specifications (size, speed, manufacturer).

Thanks stefanrp97, for that very good advise.

 

The question begs of disaster and should not be attempted under any circumstances with the drives he list.
