Removing AdSubtract Splash Screen Instructions

Hi,

I updated AdSubtract, but I've forgotten how to prevent the splash screen from appearing. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Richard

Hi jdwssll,

I don't have that option on the Browsers tab , but thanks for replying.

Richard

P.S. - The easy fix seems to be available only to users of Pro or CE. I'm using SE. I should have printed out the instructions I used the first time around, I guess.

Richard,

This should do the trick. Just substitute AdSubtract for ZoneAlarm.

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java.

Hi Denny,

That did the trick, alright, though I had to get there via Start>Search>For Files & Folders, and entering adsubtract.

When I tried C:\Windows\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp the only thing in that folder was a shortcut for ZoneAlarm, even though I have a couple of other things that start when I turn on the PC (InoculateIt, and Pop-Up Stopper).

I also noticed that the only thing listed under Start>Programs>StartUp is AdSubtract. Even though the other programs aren't listed there, they still start automatically. Is there any compelling reason to move them to the StartUp folder if they're starting OK from where they are now? If so, how do I manage that?

Thanks for the help. It has been printed and filed this time. (I'm a hard-copy guy at heart.)
