What Dell system do you have?  We need to know what size power supply you have to determine the video card you can get. If you have a quad, then you may have around a 350 watt PSU that has the additional 6-pin power cable.  The 300 watt power supplies usually do not.  If you have just a 300 watt unit, you can go with the HD 7750 as your best option for gaming.  If you have a 350 watt or 360 watt, you can look at something better like the GTX 650 or the HD 6790 or HD 7770.  The latter 3 require the 6-pin.  All of these will be superior to the GT 220.   If you just want something better than what you have that still allows for gaming and does not cost much, get the HD 6670 HERE.

The power unit is a bestec ATX0350P5WA- which upon searching I believe is a 350W Max. Therefore what would be best for gaming, I play Counterstrike Source, and RTS games, I would love it if able to play the new Rome Total War II game.

A SAPPHIRE 100357LP Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card would work fine.

Oh okay, finally it says (1GB 128-bit GDDR5 ) shouldn't matter too much playing these games right?

Also after putting new, are the drivers easy to find?

The Retail card from Newegg comes with a Driver Disc.

The HD 7750 meets the recommended video card requirement for Rome Total War II.  But like I said, I would choose a full size card for the mini tower and not a low profile one.  You would also have to change the bracket once you get it because the full size bracket will be needed in your case.  

Okay mate, cheers for that, so if I bought this, do I just remove old and then place new inside and once booted up will it work straight away or will it need to update?

If you look at my previous message, I have links to the cards.  It is just the full size cards will run cooler than the smaller low profile ones.

For this you need to check the seller's return policies, prior to ordering the video card.

If you have a card I would UNINSTALL the Drivers for the OLD card.  Then Reboot into Ugly VGA.

Then shutdown unplug, and remove old and add new.

Then install the drivers from the new card.  It won't be auto detected.
