Samyak Veera - Why In Dell laptop, Windows 7 Internet Problems are occuring?

Hey,

I am Smayak Veera and working for an IT Company in USA.

I have purchased a Dell laptop for a few months now and it keeps coming up with a "No Internet Access" shows in Yellow Icon. It still messaging that I am connected but have no internet access and I cannot open any webpages, I have chceked every connection and they are connected well. If I unplug the router and reconnect it works fine for 30-60 minutes but then I get the icon again.

Now obviously I could just evey time disable and re enable the wireless connector after every half hour but its annoying and would rather it was fixed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Waiting for your prompt reply.

Regards,

Samyak Veera

Always include the exact model number and version of Windows in your posts. And if it's a laptop, next time post in the laptop forum.

If I understand correctly you're using a WiFi connection to the router. Have you checked Windows settings to see if WiFi is being turned off "to save power"? Look in Device Manager for a WiFi entry and double-click to open it. If there's a Power Management tab, click it and look for a box "Allow PC to turn off..." and uncheck it. Then reboot.

Possible the router is having issues?

Have you checked with your ISP?
