Sound System Has No Power - repost with new info
Hi All, when I originally posted this, I omitted the system info so I'll add it here and re-post the original. As to the problem, now the entire sound system is dead....no power (no green light next to the on/off switch). I have checked all the connections as well as the fuse on the subwoofer and all are o.k. If you have any idea, I'd appreciate it as this has me totally stumped (although that's not hard to believe).

SoundBlaster Live 24 bit Advanced HD Audio
This is a strange problem that has come up more and more frequently over the last month. Occasionally, while listening to music, there will be a loud pop/crack sound through the speakers and the power for the audio apparently fails. The green power light on my monitor mounted center speaker then goes off and it's as if the power has been shut off. The first few times it happened, I rebooted and it came back on. Then when that stopped working, I would shut down and kill the power to my surge protector for a few seconds. After repowering and starting, it would fix the problem. Then, nothing I did would help, it would just come back on by itself a little later (sometimes with a pop). Now it's completely dead. I've checked all connections and they appear tight. Anyone have any clue what this might be? I'm at a loss and it is aggravating. Thanks,
Chip
