Strange Sound (coming from a fan) when starting computer.
Hello there,
I have been having a doubt lately. When I turn my computer on, a strange sound comes from inside the computer. I think is a fan or something....but after a few seconds it goes away slowly until you don't hear it anymore. This only happens when the computer is cold or after a few minutes that you have turned it off... What do you think it is...?

but no that i accomplished nothing in relation to your question, perhaps you could help me out? Does your computer have a voltage switch on the back of the tower, which allows you to chose between 110volts and 220Volts....
thx!

Thanks for answering to my question. Regarding yours, yes there is a switch in the back of my computer and it is in 110V. I can choose one of both, because here in Guatemala, Central America it's possible. But as you say, after a while the computer becomes normal and there is no more sound. I think it's normal as you established in your message at first. =)
Sincerely,
Arturo
