Supported graphics cards for DELL XPS 8500 in 2017?

Thinking of upgrading to a GTX 1050 or a GTX 1050 Ti, but I heard somewhere that the dell motherboards don't support all graphics cards. Anyone know if these cards are compatible? If not, what cards are?
