The computer will not go to sleep

The computer will not go to sleep
Power management although selected to suspend the desktop, this is never executed. The monitor is off, but not the desktop.

Just forcing their way into the suspension, is that this is assumed.

Already have disabled the network card to "wake up" as well as the usb 3.0 hub.

Some help, please!

Hi jjomorgado,

I suggest you update the video card drivers to it’s latest version from the following link and by selecting the appropriate driver from the Video section:
http://dell.to/AidgTv

Some devices may be active in the background that may prevent the computer from going to Sleep mode. To check and to disable the devices, please follow the steps provided below:

1. Click on “Start”, type “CMD”.
2. Right-click on “CMD and” choose” Run as administrator.”
3. Type the following command to list out all the devices that can wake up your Windows 7 computer:

“Powercfg -devicequery wake_armed”

4. You can disable a device by typing in the following command and replacing “devicename” with the name of the device listed previously:

Powercfg -devicedisablewake “devicename“

You can now check if the computer goes to “Sleep” mode.

Please reply to this message with your findings.

Hi jjomorgado,,

Please set a time for the sleep function in the "Power Options" first. The when you select the sleep option and the monitor turns off, remove the mouse and check if the Desktop goes to sleep. Please reply with your findings.
