Vostro 470 Discontinued
I see that within the last few days the Vostro 470 has been discontinued. Any information on its successor? I've purchased several 470's recently for a customer upgrade and I was planning on getting more to finish the upgrade but now I'll have to either use the Vostro 270 or more likely the Vostro 480 or whatever the new model may be called. Any news on the next model? Specs? When it will be available for purchase on the website?

If you want uniformity among the upgrade machines, plenty of Vostro 470s are for sale on eBay.
The XPS 8500 uses the same motherboard and sells for about the same price; it has a different chassis with a card reader, but the internals are similar.

Thank you for the input; I actually have an xps 8500 myself. The 470 configs I was buying were under $550 shipped with coupons and the 8500 is quite a bit higher than that. I don't require much expansion so I ordered a 270s to try out with the core i5. It was under $550 shipped and after tax. I'm still curious on the 470 successor and even the Dell sales rep I chatted with tonight didn't have any new info yet.
