XPS 420 Support PCI-E 2.0?
I bought a XPS 420 at the beginning of the year and want to upgrade my video card to something faster. Does the XPS 420 support PCI-E 2.0? I've been looking everywhere to find out the make and model of my motherboard, but have been unable to do so.
Thanks,
Erik

well according to the FAQ and manual the 420 does support PCI-E 2.0.
Check the FAQ - http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=Tech_Talk_XPS&thread.id=21301
The owner's manual also states that it's gen2

It has an x38 chipset dell implementation which is suppose to support pci-e 2.0. Dell just included one instead of the two that the x38 supports.
