XPS 420 Support PCI-E 2.0?

That's because it's the X38 "Express" chipset. I guess anything with the word Express means a more economy version of the full version motherboard which only works with ATI Crossfire video cards anyway so who needs it? Unless you like ATI. It's a nice motherboard though.

the XPS 420 has a PCI Express 2.0 slot. It's using the Intel X38 chipset.

well according to the FAQ and manual the 420 does support PCI-E 2.0.

It has an x38 chipset dell implementation which is suppose to support pci-e 2.0.  Dell just included one instead of the two that the x38 supports.
