XPS 420 Windows 8 32-bit Bluetooth Drivers?

Hello,

I have an XPS420 which I upgraded to Windows 8.1 some time ago. The OS failed and I reinstalled the OS again. However, I've noticed that the Bluetooth is missing from Windows 8.1?

I've been looking to see about drivers for this, but I can only find the Windows Visa/XP drivers for it. Various links lead to 3rd-party programs which have no idea about it?

Does anyone know where the 32-bit Windows 8 drivers are for the Bluetooth in the XPS420? System managed to get everything else working fine.

Many thanks,

Brett

Its essentially a Dell Wireless 355 card inbuilt in the card reader which is a Broadcom card. Try the Broadcom Bluetooth Update, if that fails the Dell Wireless 370 driver, see here:

MATAKUC,

Thanks. I've downloaded the Broadcom Bluetooth Update from the page you linked to and it just seems to hang at 20% on the "Detect Bluetooth Device" stage?

The Dell Wireless 370 Driver for the is only for Windows 7. "Driver 7×86, 7×64 http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER94296M/1/R226750.exe 6.2.0.9600". It copies files to a C:\dell folders immediately runs into a compatibility screen and refuses to get any further.

Any links to actual Windows 8 drivers?

Thanks,

Brett

Sorry, these are Windows Vista drivers. I have Windows 8.1 and these don't work.

Install dotnet 2.0 3.5 legacy and then install the Vista Drivers as administrator.
